Protection Features
Every Lithion Power BMS ships with a full suite of cell protection features.
Cuts charging current when cell voltage exceeds the safe upper threshold. Prevents thermal runaway and electrolyte decomposition.
Disconnects the load before cells reach the minimum safe voltage. Preserves capacity and extends cycle life.
Instantaneous shutdown on output short. Self-resetting after fault clearance on most models.
Onboard NTC sensor monitors cell temperature. Charging and discharging suspended outside safe range (β10 Β°C to 70 Β°C).
Passive balancing on Non-Smart range; active balancing on Smart BMS. Keeps all cells within 10β20 mV of each other.
Smart BMS models report real-time State of Charge and State of Health over CAN, UART or RS485 to the host controller.
